It’s September and every year I feel shocked when I walk into a store and I see the first Christmas decorations for sale on the aisle next to Halloween costumes these days!

This sets my heart aflutter with a little bit of panic because I am trying to save money and the holidays mean spending money. The last thing I want to do is put Christmas on my credit cards!
I do have some set aside for Christmas already, but not as much as I need because I have had some unexpected expenses this year. I would love to have a little more to spend. How many of you feel the same way?
So, let’s look at our major areas of spending and see if we can cut some costs from each, maybe we can get a few hundred more to spend by Christmas!
